The Estate

Sweet undulations ripple away from the house up to the mountains. The bewitching beauty of fields and vineyards will bring you on a journey through one of the best parts of Tuscany where you will find an abundance of art, nature and good food. The estate is strategically positioned to have access to Florence, Fiesole, Sienna and Lucca. The estate has the feel of an ancient hamlet. All of the Casali, lovingly refurbished with professional accuracy, have the texture of olden times, but updated to modern comfort and technology. The history of Casellino is recorded from 1586 when it was part of the estate of Monastero Benedettino di Vallombrosa. It was given to Verrazzano who in 1711 donated it to the Order of San Francesco di Sales. Today it is a working ranch of 40 acres cultivating, in the traditional Tuscany manner, olive trees ( from which we produce a very high quality organic oil) as well as a vegetable garden and orchard. Nearly half of the estate is woodland in which flora and fauna proliferate. The ambience is uncontaminated and the view is superb.

Il Casellino is a small paradise which will bestow big emotions.
